About the Opportunity:
Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to critically ill children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to children in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and quality care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- Successful completion of the Pediatric Critical Care Orientation program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical care experience
- Pediatric experience
