Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional resident care, adhering to protocols and physicians' orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, initiating remedial health measures as needed.
- Organize and direct functions related to resident care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist in the management of nursing and personal care staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Train and develop new staff, referring concerns to the Director of Care.
Requirements:
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- A serving heart and passion for caring for seniors.
- Registration/eligible for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks with urgency.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Developed creative problem-solving skills to address complex situations.
