Nurse Practitioner

At Southbridge Care Homes, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor residents' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of gerontological nursing principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
