Job Title: Food and Beverage Server Job Summary: Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a fast-paced hotel environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities: • Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Orders • Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables/carts, and cordial carts • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen • Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements • Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation • Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas • Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Less than 1 year of related work experience • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight • Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up and down stairs and/or service ramps • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping About the Company: Marriott Hotels is a global hospitality company that strives to elevate the art of hospitality.
