Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a Banquet Server, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Set up and maintain banquet tables, action stations, and buffets to ensure a high level of presentation and quality.
- Communicate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure that all guest requests are met and that the event runs smoothly.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the banquet area, including tables, floors, and equipment.
- Bus tables and remove trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, including responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
