**Job Summary:**
- Provide prevention services, diagnostic treatment planning, restorative/operative dental treatment, community and preventive dentistry services.
- Specialize in stimulating, coordinating, and delivering oral health promotion activities aimed at reducing disease and promoting oral health for people in the community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate the delivery of an active preventive oral health education and promotion program within the oral health professional's scope of practice.
- Supervise, program manage, and direct the Oral Health Program.
- Work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams to achieve program goals and objectives.
**Requirements:**
- 2 years' experience as a Dental Therapist.
- Dental Therapy diploma.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR).
**Competencies:**
- Advanced - Presentation skills.
- Advanced - Organizational skills.
- Advanced - Interpersonal skills.
- Advanced - Computer skills.
**Knowledge and Abilities:**
- Knowledge in best practice in oral health and other related health impacts.
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to be innovative in service development, delivery, and problem solving.
- Knowledge of health principles/outcomes & the relationship to overall health.
- Ability to work and communicate in a cross-cultural setting.
- Knowledge in oral health and overall health relationship.
- Knowledge in media forms and associated technology.
- Ability to multitask.
- Knowledge in community health program planning and delivery elements.
- Knowledge in health promotion and prevention strategies.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- HSAS membership.
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association (SDTA).
