Join the Big White Ski Resort team as a Dishwasher, responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Dishwashers are essential to our kitchen operations, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy, including utensils, dishes, tools, and workstations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • Cleaning garbage cans and maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition
  • Placing clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Sorting and removing trash, placing it in designated areas
  • Sweeping and scrubbing floors
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks delivering or collecting food and supplies
  • Assisting with receiving and storing supplies
  • Stocking supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
  • Transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks

Physical demands of the role include:

  • Ability to lift 33-55lbs/15-25 kg regularly
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stand throughout the day

Safety awareness is crucial in this role, and staff are expected to be mindful of safety concerns for the public, staff, and themselves. If unfamiliar with safety procedures, staff should ask their supervisor for training.
