Dishwasher Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Big White Ski Resort. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils using dishwashers or by hand
  • Clean and maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Sort and remove trash, and place it in designated pickup areas
  • Sweep and scrub floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks delivering or collecting food and supplies
  • Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
Requirements:
  • Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift 33-55lbs/15-25 kg regularly
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stand throughout the day

Safety awareness is essential in this role. You should always be aware of safety concerns for the public, staff, and yourself. If you are unfamiliar with safety procedures, ask your supervisor for training. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
