JOB TITLE: Clinical Leader
Vitalité Health Network seeks a skilled Clinical Leader to support the manager in the planning, organization, and evaluation of nursing services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the manager in planning, organization, and evaluation of nursing services
- Contribute to high-quality clinical care and staff training
- Act as a clinical leader for care staff and multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate in department administration and staff management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Registered by the New Brunswick Nurses Association
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training (CPI)
- Training in prevention and management of suicidal behaviours
- Skills using computer tools
- Minimum of five years' direct and recent experience in mental health, addiction services, or psychiatry
- Demonstrated leadership skills and competencies in management
- Ability to teach and transmit knowledge to others
- Analytical, synthesizing, and decision-making skills
- Physical ability to perform assigned work
- Good work history (performance and attendance)
- Adherence to professional ethics principles and organizational values
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability to be relocated within the mental health, addictions services, and psychiatric unit of the zone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Conflict management skills
- Ability to act as a change agent
