Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Evergreen Home for Special Care - Seniors Centre. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in Continuing Care Assistant or related field
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and transfer residents
Working Conditions:
  • Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
