About the Opportunity

The Manager of Nutrition and Food Services, Western Zone is a key member of our team, responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of operations and day-to-day management of NFS within multiple sites of the Western Zone. This role requires a strong leader who can champion the integration of nutrition care and food service, and provide nutrition care services to patients, residents, and clients in both institutional, ambulatory, and community settings.

About You
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
  • Experience: Five (5) years' progressive management experience in health care as a dietitian in addition to having clinically related practice experience
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to interpret statistical data, and monitor quality and performance indicators and benchmarks
    • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships, and lead change effectively
    • Extensive experience in financial planning and human resource management
    • Experience managing in a unionized environment
    • Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations, policies, and standards
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage conflicting deadlines
    • Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
    • Travel to other sites is required and must have access to a reliable vehicle
    • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
