THE ROLE:
In this high-profile role, you will have great exposure to all the latest technologies in the computer graphics industry. As a Senior Manager of Program Management, you will collaborate with senior vice presidents, engineering managers, software developers, and product managers to drive the planning and execution of multiple dynamic software development projects.

THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a proactive, enthusiastic, and quick-learning individual passionate about emerging technologies. As a results-driven, adaptable problem-solver, they will thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively navigating ambiguity and change. Leveraging their engineering background and demonstrated success in software delivery, the successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, engaging with key stakeholders at all levels from driving technical conversations to leading executive program reviews.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define, plan, and execute projects and program plans based on management guidance and senior technical mentorshipAssess the technical feasibility of new products by clarifying and analyzing requirements with software/hardware architects, technical leads, and engineersDevelop program schedules, considering various software stack components and hardware/firmware dependencies, and build staffing plans to support the timelineParticipate in creating project plans and schedules; develop and improve processes for tracking projects and risk mitigationDeliver on all assigned program commitments from inception through execution within schedule, budget, and scope\Act as a critical liaison between R&D and other partners for successful project executionOwn resource tracking, status reporting, and issue communication to key partners, including senior executives and customersPrepare and deliver project status updates and reviews to internal stakeholdersInvestigate technical aspects of the program and drive details within firmware, compiler, runtime, tools, and application development teamsLead across cross-functional teams, including business units, engineering organizations, and finance/operationsCollaborate closely with engineering counterparts across global sites to plan and align operational efficiencies

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Industry experience in project managementExcellent presentation and leadership skills, able to lead technical discussionsStrong interpersonal skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience leading complex, interrelated projects, programs, and functionsOutstanding team player, dedicated to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, multitasking environmentCustomer-facing experience is a plusFamiliarity with managing Linux and Windows-based products is beneficialProficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS OfficeExperience delivering software for new hardware products such as accelerators and GPUs is advantageousBackground in compilersKnowledge of AI/ML technologies is an assetFamiliarity with open-source development and GitHubExperience with virtualization frameworks (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Software development experienceExperience collaborating with globally distributed teamsPMP certification is highly desirable but not mandatory

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering , Electrical or related preferred
