THE ROLE:

The NBIO (North Bridge I/O) Team develops unique product differentiating high-performance I/O subsystems that meaningfully increase the competitiveness of AMD products. As the NBIO Operations Program Manager, you will be working with a large global team to manage overall departmental operations. You will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Recruiting, and IP owners to align hiring and budget with program demands.

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate is effective in communication with impeccable attention to detail, very organized and on top of things, highly analytical with a strong passion for data analytics, resourceful and innovative in problem solving.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Central point of contact for internal and external teams for NBIO Operations.
  • Develop effective partnerships and collaborations with business partners, e.g. HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Facilities, etc.
  • Budget: Manage budgetary planning, forecasting, and reporting on actuals. Track attainment (existing headcount, incoming hires, travel, etc, operating expenses) and modulate spend based on current situation (favorable/unfavorable). Manage contracts (SOW), PO, invoices, etc.
  • Project-based accounting (PBA): Create, compile, clean, and validate resource capacity planning data from cross-functional teams, ensure data tie in with budget, workforce planning, and program roadmap. Summarize data in mountain charts and other applicable diagrams for executive forums.
  • Reporting: Collect, analyze, organize, and publish data via dashboards and/or reports.
  • Exec presentation: Transform high-quality data into actionable business insights that enable data-driven and predictive decision-making. Uplevel data and create executive presentations for Director+ audience.
  • SharePoint and Confluence administration: Establish, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to manage data access, data security and compliance, and data quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities in departmental processes and continuously strive for simplification and efficiency enhancement.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in program management and/or operations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table + Pivot Chart), Power Query, Power BI is needed for day-to-day tasks. Knowledge of databases, SQL, eazyBI is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities.
  • Flexible schedule to work with global teams (North America, APAC, EMEA).

EDUCATION:

  • BS in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
