As a Bakery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized bakery area, and assist with stocking and sales of baked goods.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, maintaining a fully stocked bakery department, adhering to food safety and handling procedures, and preparing bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines.

Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a bakery or retail environment.

  • Ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
  • Maintain a fully stocked bakery department and ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning procedures.
  • Prepare bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines.
  • Ensure all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
Requirements
  • Meet the basic qualifications outlined by Walmart Canada.
  • Previous experience in a bakery or retail environment is preferred.
