Job Summary

As a Bakery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bakery department. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality and visual appearance of bakery merchandise, adhering to food safety and handling procedures, and following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, and pricing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery department, adhering to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
  • Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, and pricing of bakery merchandise.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, including temperature recording and product rotation.
  • Prepare bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
