Job Summary

As a Bakery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the quality and visual appearance of our bakery department. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery department merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
  2. Maintain and zone the bakery area to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  3. Assist with stocking and the sale of goods, adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  4. Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, following sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  5. Prepare bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery department merchandise.
  6. Ensure all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
