Claims Registration Clerk

Join our team at WorkplaceNL as a Claims Registration Clerk and play a critical role in representing our organization as the first point of contact for injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise workers and employers on the process of filing a claim with WorkplaceNL after an injury occurs.
- Educate injured workers and employers on the completion of injury reporting forms and other relevant processes.
- Obtain accurate information from injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers, and enter it into the claim data set on the CR System.
- Exercise discretion and decision-making abilities in determining whether a recurrence of a claim should be registered as a recurrence or reinstatement.
- Two-year diploma in Business Administration.
- Two years of relevant experience in a client-centered team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize a large workload.
- Knowledge of WorkplaceNL's legislation, policies, and procedures is an asset.
- Demonstrating a broad depth of understanding of WorkplaceNL's procedures and practices, with the ability to prioritize multiple functions.
- Communicating effectively with tact and understanding towards employers, workers, and healthcare providers, playing a key role in delivering quality client service.
Experience and educational equivalency will be considered. An eligibility list may be established from this competition to fill future vacancies within a period of six months.
