Job Summary: RBC Dominion Securities seeks a resourceful and empathetic Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional service and support to clients and Advisor team.

The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Vaughan is looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Administrative Assistant. By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and our Advisor team, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute client account administration, including account opening, account maintenance and efficient resolution of client requests.
- Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients, ensuring timely and accurate management of key dates and timelines.
- Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and other necessary documentation is accurate, up-to-date and compliant.
- Respond to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner, addressing account transactions, requests, account documentation, and account reporting.
- Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients, leveraging your passion for planning to coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
- Provide proactive client service, utilizing your superior problem resolution skills to address client concerns and needs.
- Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners, drawing on your social media skills to update the team's communication channels.
Requirements:
- Strong skills in working with various business applications/technology.
- High level of time management and organization skills.
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH).
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures.
- Experience in the securities industry is an asset.
