About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Rental Shop Attendant at Glen Eden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless rental experience, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to visitors, responding to inquiries and addressing their needs in a timely manner
  • Assist visitors with sizing and fitting of ski/snowboard equipment, ensuring maximum comfort and safety
  • Explain proper use of ski and snowboard rental equipment, as well as general safety practices, to visitors
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and filed according to Rental Department protocols
  • Conduct visual inspections of skis and snowboards to ensure they meet safety protocols
  • Receive returned rental equipment, following established check-in procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, and holidays, depending on visitation levels
  • Previous related experience, knowledge of recreational programming, and experience with point-of-sale procedures are assets
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, and walk/stand for long periods of time
  • Successful candidates must complete and/or provide a copy of Bindings Certificate prior to first day of employment
