A.S.P. is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive training program in support of its security service.

Summary: We are looking for a skilled Training Coordinator to facilitate employee training, develop training materials, and maintain training records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, conduct, and coordinate employee training through various delivery methods, including classroom training, e-learning, and on-the-job training.
  • Participate in the design and development of training programs, plans, and schedules.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on training requirements and delivery, collaborating with scheduling, operations, and HR teams.
  • Develop and prepare training materials, such as manuals, guidance information, and handbooks.
  • Coordinate and maintain the training calendar.
  • Monitor and maintain training performance metrics and design assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Maintain the training database, tracking and reporting all training sessions and employee training records.
  • Participate in the design and development of LMS and in-class training modules and programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Post-Secondary Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in a Training/Educational field or equivalent combination of training, education, and work-related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in team facilitation, instruction, or security training.
  • Experience in implementing Differentiated Learning Principles is preferred.
  • Experience in working with a Learning Management System is preferred.
  • Certified Tricom Use of Force and Step Training instructor mandatory.
  • Mental Health First Aid of Ontario Instructor Certification an asset.
  • Certified Stay Safe – Resistance Management Systems Instructor is mandatory.
  • Certified Standard First Aid CPR/AED 'C Instructor (preferred).
