Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive test strategy for web and mobile-based products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for comprehensive test coverage
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance of web applications
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Monitor and track defects and issues, providing status updates to stakeholders
  • Continuously improve the QA process by identifying and implementing best practices, tools, and techniques
  • Supply mentorship and training to QA testers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Investigate customer complaints and product implementation issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in web application testing, including manual and automated testing
  • Strong technical skills in web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
  • Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of QA testers is an asset
