Job Summary

SS&C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
  • Design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions
  • Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics
  • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions
  • Assist with various tasks throughout the development lifecycle of a project

Requirements

  • 6+ years of working experience in automation projects and technical activities
  • Hands-on experience on automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, API Testing tools (SOAP UI/Postman/Newman/Swagger, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge in automation scripting languages like Java, Java/VB Script, Python etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in using Test Management tools like JIRA, XRay, Service Now, HP ALM, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Jenkins/Gitlab, Excel macros, Shell Scripting etc.
  • Working knowledge of QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, BDD)
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is a plus
