Job Summary: Experienced farm manager sought to oversee farm operations, supervise laborers, and ensure efficient crop production and equipment maintenance.

Coordinate and supervise the work of farm laborers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Monitor and follow processes and procedures to maximize crop production yield and minimize production expenses.
  • Operate equipment and machinery as directed, verifying settings and ensuring proper function.
  • Track and report progress, maintaining logbooks and in-field records as required.
  • Follow directions closely, asking questions if unsure, and communicate information about equipment and pests.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring all loads are properly secured.
  • Keep the shop, yard, and equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Participate in team meetings and assist other team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of time worked and refrain from non-work-related cell phone usage.
  • Act as a positive representative for the company in the community.
  • Perform general farm duties as directed by the supervisor.
  • Ensure farm safety, security, and bio-security procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of farm management experience.
