Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Coutts Agro Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of farm laborers, ensuring the efficient operation of farm equipment and machinery, and maintaining accurate records of farm activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of farm laborers to ensure efficient and effective farm operations.
  • Monitor and follow established processes and procedures to maximize crop production yield and minimize production expenses.
  • Supervise and operate equipment and machinery as directed, ensuring proper settings and maintenance.
  • Track and report progress as directed, maintaining accurate records of farm activities.
  • Inspect equipment and trucks daily and periodically throughout operation to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Communicate information such as pests noticed, equipment requiring maintenance, and other important farm-related information.
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary, ensuring all loads are properly secured.
  • Keep the farm shop, yard, and equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Supervise and participate in performing basic maintenance on a daily and ongoing basis to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate and coordinate equipment requiring significant maintenance or repair, and assist with completing repairs as directed.
  • Participate in team meetings and assist other team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of time worked by clocking in/out of the time system.
  • Refrain from non-work-related cell phone usage while at work and maintain a professional image.
  • Act as a positive representative for Coutts Agro Ltd. in the community.
  • Perform general farm duties as directed by the supervisor.
  • Ensure farm safety, security, and bio-security procedures are followed.

  • Over 5 years of farm management experience.
