Coutts Agro Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and harvesting labourers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Farm Operations: Ensure that all farm activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.
- Maintain Farm Equipment and Machinery: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, plows, and other equipment, to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
- Coordinate Maintenance and Repair Services: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair services for our farm equipment and machinery, to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Assist in Crop Production: Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of crop production activities, including planting, harvesting, and post-harvest operations.
- Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm workers and visitors adhere to our company's safety and bio-security protocols, to prevent accidents and minimize the risk of disease transmission.
- Participate in Staff Meetings: Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share knowledge and best practices, and address any concerns or issues.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management or a related field is required.
- Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
- Work Hours: 45 hours per week.
