The Opportunity

As a Business Continuity Strategist, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and testing our customers' business continuity programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact our customers' businesses. Your expertise will help us ensure that our customers are prepared to respond to and recover from disruptions, minimizing the impact on their operations and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans that address all aspects of our customers' businesses

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement controls to minimize the impact of disruptions

• Conduct regular testing and exercises to ensure the effectiveness of our business continuity plans and identify areas for improvement

• Provide training and support to our customers on business continuity best practices and risk management strategies

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging risks, and provide recommendations for enhancing our business continuity programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, risk management, emergency management) and 8+ years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or a related field

• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective business continuity plans and risk management strategies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess complex risks and develop mitigation strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Strong knowledge of business continuity best practices, risk management frameworks, and industry standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification

• Experience working in the insurance industry or a related field

• Strong understanding of technology and business concepts, life cycles, and processes

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (if required)
