Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Cariboo Pulp and Paper in Quesnel, BC. As a Pipefitter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our pulp mill's machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
  • Apply knowledge of system operation to select the most suitable pipe type and size
  • Install and test piping systems, including support equipment and fittings
  • Inspect and test piping systems to ensure leak-free operation
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
Requirements
  • Valid Red Seal Pipefitter certification
  • Heavy industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
