About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Claims Representative III to join our team at Intact, a leading insurance company. As a Claims Representative III, you will play a critical role in analyzing and investigating claims to determine their causes and providing fair and equitable settlements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze claims data to determine admissibility and investigate circumstances to determine causes
  • Provide settlements that meet company standards and rules
  • Utilize tools and resources effectively to manage claims
  • Determine subrogation potential in claims files
  • Manage reserves effectively
  • Manage office priorities and tasks efficiently

Requirements

  • Claims adjuster certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in claims handling
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and policies
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Bilingual (French and English) with ability to interact with English-speaking clients and colleagues
