Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist I to join our team at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina. As a key member of our Radiation Therapy department, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and precise ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, plan, and deliver ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in radiation therapy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy.
  • Certification in Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C.
  • Licensed with the Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT).
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
