General Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Project Manager, this dual-role position combines responsibilities from both Job Developer and Workshop Facilitator positions.

You will collaborate with the team to develop and execute marketing and outreach plans, build community and business partnerships, and create an employer database through research.

As a Job Developer, you will facilitate job fairs, engage in social networking, and utilize social media to attract clients and employers, particularly in the healthcare sector.

You will also prepare program participants for healthcare-related job placements and arrange interviews.

Additionally, you will develop and deliver presentations to inform employers and service providers about our programs, fostering partnerships to enhance client intake and employment opportunities.

You will assist with job search workshops and follow-ups, promoting PCPIs mission across the Greater Toronto Area.

Specific Accountabilities:

Develop and implement outreach plans to promote PCPIs programs, including the Foreign Credentials Recognition Project, enhancing awareness and identifying opportunities in the hidden job market.

Conduct program information sessions, informing potential participants about eligibility, intake processes, and program benefits.

Establish a database of healthcare sector employers, mentors, and job leads to support participants in finding suitable placements and employment.

Collaborate with Job Developers across the organization to share job leads and business development opportunities.

Assess employers capacity for job placements through site visits, ensuring a positive work environment and on-the-job training for participants.

Work closely with case managers and workshop instructors to assess participant readiness for employment and provide necessary support.
Enhance participants interview skills and resumes to align with employment opportunities.
Maintain accurate documentation using internal systems to monitor mentorships, placements, and outcomes.
Deliver workplace safety workshops to enhance employer value and participant preparedness.
Maintain a caseload of participants, documenting progress and ensuring timely feedback to case managers.
Support employers in resolving workplace issues with placed participants to achieve business goals.
Represent PCPI at community events, promoting organizational visibility and networking.
Provide exemplary customer service, responding professionally and promptly to clients and employers.
Participate actively in staff meetings, contributing to organizational problem-solving and development.
Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Position Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Experience in job development, sales, marketing, HR/recruitment, or related fields is advantageous.
Knowledge of the healthcare sector and established contacts within the industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Teams; familiarity with marketing strategies and healthcare labor market trends.
Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Effective communication in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
Interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Working Conditions:

Hybrid work environment with digital tools; regular travel within the GTA and occasional evening or weekend work as required.
