Overview

The PepsiCo Operations co-op program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of business operations in a real-world environment. The program aims to develop future supply chain leaders who can drive growth and innovation within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines, including logistics, procurement, and distribution.
  • Develop strong relationships with associate peers and interact with senior leadership to drive business outcomes.
  • Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Report findings to team members and management to inform decision-making.
  • Work on large-scale projects and manage time and effort to deliver results.
  • Learn and apply statistical modeling and reporting tools to drive business insights.
  • Develop leadership skills to manage production staff and achieve production and quality goals.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings to drive continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Business Management.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual with a proven track record of leadership and project management.
  • Previous experience in an operations environment is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment and make trade-off decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Flexibility for relocation can lead to greater advancement opportunities.
