The Role

As a Consultant at Trindent Consulting, you will work under the leadership of an Engagement Manager or Senior Consultant to apply your expertise to review client processes and identify improvement avenues that will enhance client productivity.

You will be accountable for successfully producing key project deliverables such as area profiles, work assessments, financial models, data analytics, client presentations, process diagrams, and management system dashboards.

By utilizing Trindent's proven methodology and tools, you will deliver sustainable results and build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data analysis, process observations, and client interviews to identify process barriers and opportunities.
  • Perform research, causal analysis, and formulate hypothesis on product, service, and process workflows.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the diagnoses and development of process changes to improve business systems/functions.
  • Develop and produce client-ready deliverables such as area profiles, process diagrams, management dashboards, analytical reports, status reports, training modules, opportunity lists, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Adhere to standards to ensure sustainable and predictable results for the client.
  • Evaluate dynamic and static measurement issues and concerns.
  • Establish and maintain effective client engagement with client project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant degree specific to Trindent's industry verticals (Oil & Gas, Finance, Health Care).
  • Holder of Canadian or US passport (necessary for correct travel visas to be obtained).
  • 1-3 years prior work experience in related fields.
  • 3-12 months consulting experience in an implementation-based management consulting firm.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies with a focus on operational KPIs, active management, and continuous process improvement.
  • Data mining and data analysis skills in Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, remain flexible, and to successfully adapt to a variety of working environments.
  • Superior numeracy, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Clear understanding and following of business ethics and professionalism.
  • Experience with the following process: Data scrubbing, Process Analysis and Critiques, KPI Grids, Process Observations, Management Studies, Workload Analysis, Skills Analysis, Behavior Assessments, Sustainability Plan, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Availability/flexibility for frequent travel.
  • Located near a major airport.
