We are seeking a Circulation Assistant to join our team at the Port Moody Public Library. As a key member of our public service team, you will provide exceptional customer service, interact with patrons, and assist with library operations.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Check in and out library materials using automated software
• Manage customer accounts and new registrations
• Use RFID technology to process materials
• Handle monetary transactions
• Sort and file materials
• Process new materials
• Promote library services
• Answer general and directional questions

**Requirements:**

• Secondary school graduation (Grade 12)
• Knowledge of library functions and procedures
• Minimum six months of related experience in customer service
• Strong service commitment and flexibility
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently
• Proficient keyboarding skills and experience working with computers
• Ability to perform physical demands of the position
