GFL is hiring industrial labourers for the upcoming season in the Ottawa and surrounding area.

In order to be considered for a position you must have a valid G, DZ or AZ Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract to be considered.

Working under the supervision of our Supervisors, our Labourer's will assist our Industrial crews, hydro excavation crews exposing underground utilities and backfilling / reinstating of various project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Digging holes and trenches

Securing of open excavation

Operating equipment and tools

Site preparation and clean-up as directed

Securing and safely loading / unloading vehicles with supplies

Secure work area and set up traffic control

Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
High school diploma or relevant experience

Must have a G license at minimum

Available for Monday-Friday (for a day shift) and on-call on weekends every 3rd week

Good verbal communication skills and able to work in TEAM environment

Must be able to safely 50 lbs.

Ability to follow instructions
