We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping Technician to join our team at Victoria Lawn Care. As a vital member of our company, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional lawn care and landscaping services to our residential and commercial clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
- Conduct garden bed maintenance, such as weeding, planting, and mulching.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Perform seasonal tasks, such as spring and fall cleanups, aerating, and overseeding.
- Operate and maintain various lawn care equipment and tools.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to complete larger landscaping projects, including hardscaping and softscaping.
- Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices related to lawn maintenance and landscaping.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in lawn maintenance and landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach job sites.

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gatineau, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance (preferred)

- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
