We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Service Leader to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Clinical Service Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the daily clinical service delivery and environmental/operational issues in the designated service area.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and guide respiratory therapists and support staff in the designated service area, providing clinical leadership, mentoring, supervision, education, evaluation, and research.
- Contribute to the delivery of quality respiratory therapy services by examining, developing, refining, and evaluating the body of knowledge and clinical practices.
- Assist with performance appraisals, recruitment, and coordination of clinical work schedules, caseloads, and service rotations.
- Maintain a partial clinical caseload, including Respiratory Therapy assessment, interventions, and follow-up within established standards of care.
- Minimum of five years recent, relevant Respiratory Therapy experience in a large complex environment.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Entry-to-practice academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT approved equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or another field of study with a relevant major.
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods without resting.
- Must demonstrate safe and effective body mechanics while working with clients.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required.
