About the RoleThis role is critical to the success of our global HR systems and initiatives. As Manager, HR Systems and Projects, you will play a key role in driving the success and effectiveness of our HR systems and initiatives.
Your Responsibilities- Plan and manage Global HR Systems projects for Corporate, facilitating communication and ensuring collaboration across different functions to achieve objectives.
- Serve as Workday system support, providing guidance and troubleshooting to address any system-related challenges.
- Gather and analyze business and HR requirements in comparison to system functionality to make recommendations and implement solutions which improve efficiency and quality.
- Develop and implement global HR policies and procedures as they pertain to HR Systems and HR data management.
- Partner with functional and business stakeholders to understand, evaluate and improve/streamline HR system processes and services.
- Deliver training or instruction about HR Systems to Human Resources and Manager, as required.
- Minimum Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in a Human Resources related field of study.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Systems within a progressive and fast-paced environment, preferably with Workday experience.
- Strong understanding of HR systems, structure, functions, and processes.
- Proven experience in Global HR Project Management, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute projects from envisioning to implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build positive relationships in a matrix structure.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing environment or Magna Operating Group/Division is strongly preferred.
