Mechanical CAD Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs using computer-assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software.
  • Create and revise production drawings to meet company standards.
  • Maintain an organized file system for production drawings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience drafting mechanical building systems in CAD (HVAC & Plumbing emphasis).
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systems.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, read complex blueprints, piping sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD design software.
  • Experience with Revit MEP is an asset.
  • French communication skills are an asset.
