Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical CAD Design Specialist to join our team at Inviro Engineered Systems. As a Mechanical CAD Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and revising production drawings using computer-assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs and create production drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Adhere to company Drafting and Engineering Standards.
  • Maintain an organized file system for Production Drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience drafting mechanical building systems in CAD (HVAC & Plumbing emphasis).
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systems.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, read complex blueprints, piping sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD design software.
  • Experience with Revit MEP is an asset.
  • French communication skills are an asset.
