About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Superintendent to join our team at Newmont. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance on all aspects of human resources, including talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives
  • Lead and manage the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement organizational development initiatives
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention
  • Manage and analyze HR data to inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent
Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Employee and Labour Relations, or a related field
  • Chartered Professional of Human Resources designation (CPHR) is considered an asset
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of human resources and labour relations practices, related legislation, and applicable collective agreements and jurisprudence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong multi-tasking and proven ability to manage competing priorities based on business demands
