Position: Account Coordinator, Partnership Marketing

Department: Partnership Marketing

Reports to: Manager, Partnership Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Partnership Marketing (PM) team is a major driver of revenue for Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE). The PM team is tasked with delivering industry-leading value to partners and protecting and growing CSE's partnership revenue. The Account Coordinator will do this by building incredible relationships, aligning with our partners business needs, and delivering contractual and new value.

This role will focus on:

  • Understanding the specific business of each of their partners and identifying ways to deliver on objectives
  • Acting as a creative catalyst for the development of customized approaches and solutions
  • Actively monitoring all elements of the sports, entertainment, leisure, and service industries for inspiration from best practices that can be utilized in our business
  • Assisting in partner executions across all CSE properties (Vancouver Canucks, Abbotsford Canucks, Vancouver Warriors, and Surge)
  • Actively tracking value delivery throughout partnership terms and ensuring delivery of all contractual benefits and more
  • Maintaining a strong presence at Canucks and Warriors home games, and traveling as necessary for relationship building and value delivery; prioritizing face-to-face opportunities with our partners
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with current and new CSE partners
  • Assisting management team in strategizing for business and relationship growth
  • Collaborating on ways to create new value for our current partners, renewing and extending those relationships early, and growing investment from our current partners
  • Capitalizing on opportunities to upsell and understanding how to convert them successfully

YOU HAVE:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as business administration or marketing
  • Experience in sponsorship activation, promotions, ticket sales, and marketing, preferably in professional sports or an advertising agency environment
  • Excellent people and communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within an organization
  • Highly organized with disciplined approach to managing multiple projects and administrative tasks
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Dynamic and hardworking team player attitude with the ability to confidently work with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to ensuring superior customer service
  • Strong computer proficiency, including MS Word and Excel
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
