POSITION SUMMARY:

The Partnership Marketing (PM) team is a major driver of revenue for Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE). The PM team is tasked with delivering industry-leading value to partners and protecting and growing CSE's partnership revenue. The Intern will have the opportunity to learn the in's and out's of partner activations, gain experience analyzing and reporting on essential data, and will develop in-depth knowledge of activation strategy and project strategy. This is an onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver.

This role will focus on:

  • Assisting PM team with the planning and implementation of partnership contractual obligations
  • Providing support with best-in-class service and execution, including reporting, administrative support, event planning, and deliverable tracking
  • Participating in a creative environment that inspires new ideas, programs, and activations with a key understanding of how to effectively curate them to our partners
  • Using project management platform to brief in projects and track project status
  • Working closely with other departments including Arena Operations, Community Engagement, and Marketing to ensure alignment on partnership activations
  • Maintaining a solution-oriented approach to problem solving and managing feedback

YOU HAVE:

  • Current university student recent university graduate in a related field of study such as business administration or marketing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism in presentation, conduct, and reliability; commitment to ensuring superior customer service
  • Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and high attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong computer proficiency, including MS Word and Excel
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Onsite roles at our office in downtown Vancouver
