As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Job SummaryThis is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As an Assistant Outlets Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising all aspects of Food and Beverage outlet functions, ensuring compliance with hotel standard operating procedures.
- Developing and implementing a service and management philosophy that drives excellence in guest service and staff performance.
- Training and scheduling service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitoring and documenting staff performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinating training seminars to enhance staff product and property knowledge.
- Ensuring accurate record keeping, including food and beverage sales, and other relevant data.
- Managing the development of junior personnel in both hospitality and business skills.
- Assisting in the development and execution of new concepts for the Outlets.
- Inspecting and planning to ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
- Assisting in the ordering of liquor and wine for the hotel.
- Reducing the possibilities of substandard service and guest complaints.
- Performing other duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum five years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel or restaurant.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel management, business, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to exert physical effort, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
