About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Physiotherapist will assess patients, develop holistic treatment programs, and educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. The Physiotherapist will also provide supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervise physiotherapy assistants and aides.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (provincial licensing body)
  • Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook)
  • Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
  • Previous experience in inpatient acute care considered an asset
  • Previous experience in orthopedics, burns, and/or plastics considered an asset
  • Annual Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training and certification (WHMIS)
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours
  • Permanent, Part-time (60%) position; 45 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives

$42.89 Hourly
