About the OpportunityThe Operational Stress Injury Clinic provides specialized mental health services to clients and their families, including assessment, treatment, and support. As a Social Worker on our team, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based therapies and interventions.
- Provide mental health assessment and treatment services to clients and their families
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to clients and their families
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives
We are seeking a Social Worker with:
- Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized university
- Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
- Minimum of two years related clinical experience
- Training in evidence-based therapies for PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and substance misuse
- Knowledge of mental health best practices, community services, and crisis response
- Experience working in an interdisciplinary service delivery model
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement, Best Practices, and Team Work
This is a permanent part-time position with a hybrid work schedule. The hourly rate is $49.05, with a developmental rate of $33.27 for less than two years of experience. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
