Radiological Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiological Technologist to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, including processing radiographs and archiving acquired data.
- Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management procedures, and provide input into departmental Continuous Quality Improvement/LEAN programs.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, including data entry and patient demographics.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform radiographic examinations in compliance with departmental standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice related to designated modality.
