Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care. Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols • Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, including processing radiographs and archiving acquired data • Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies • Prepare contrast agents and tray set-ups for procedures, and dispose of items according to hospital policy • Maintain accurate records, including patient demographics, histories, and data entry • Participate in quality improvement and risk management procedures and processes • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care Qualifications: • Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) • Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging equipment • Ability to perform radiographic examinations in compliance with departmental standards • Knowledge of evidence-based practice related to designated modality • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare staff About Fraser Health: Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in British Columbia, serving over 2 million people in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
