Warehouse Supervisor Wanted for Western Canada Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of 7-8 unionized employees at our Delta distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, leadership, and union relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of 7-8 unionized employees, including senior team leads
  • Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, cycle counts, and SKU audits
  • Oversee daily shift operations, including motivating the team, holding them accountable, and maintaining high performance in a dusty, construction-material-focused environment
  • Utilize strong computer skills to analyze data from reporting systems, understand inventory data, and drive decision-making
  • Manage and support employees in a unionized environment, ensuring proper accountability and performance standards
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance, while contributing to continuous improvement efforts through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen practices
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience, including leading a unionized team
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams, hold employees accountable, and improve performance
  • Experience in manufacturing or related industries preferred; logistics experience alone is not sufficient
  • Solid understanding of data-driven decision-making and warehouse management systems
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is an asset
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: $80K - $85K (negotiable) with overtime at 1.5x base wage
  • Straight day shift: (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday), with occasional overtime required
