**Key Responsibilities:**

• Prepare meals and maintain food inventory/rotation

• Train and supervise youth helpers

**Requirements:**

• Food Services Knowledge and Experience:
+ Cook for both small and large groups
+ Follow menus and adjust for special diets
+ Use kitchen equipment safely
+ Understand food safety and portion control
+ Keep work area clean and sanitary
+ Familiar with health and safety standards like WHMIS and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Other Essential Skills:
+ Learn and follow kitchen safety and security rules
+ Communicate well and work great in a team
+ Supervise and train resident helpers professionally
+ Write reports about the work of resident helpers
+ Solve problems with kitchen equipment and food service issues efficiently
