About the Branch Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Steinbach branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building strong relationships with customers, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve financial objectives and grow the branch's portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with exceptional service and financial advice.
  • Coach and develop your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with Scotiabank's policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the implementation of special initiatives and procedures to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a people manager and sales leader, with a track record of driving business growth and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of personal and small business banking, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • A license to sell mutual funds and a CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
